Brush adapter plates were developed so that they can be slotted behind most brands of plastic faceplate including MK, Triax, RPP etc, which means that they can be used with your chosen faceplate range eliminating any colour or style matching problems.

Modules can normally still be slotted into the face plate making the adapter plate a truly versatile product.

The adapter plates were specifically designed for use with plastic face plates but they can sometimes be used behind metal faceplates, it all depends on the manufacturers design where normally the earthing lug is in the way. Some of our installers get around this problem by simply removing the earthing lug. We have developed a separate range of metal adapter plates that we fit by removing the existing carrier section and riveting our plate in its place. In both instances this is a good solution provided that the plate is used for signal cables only as the earthing lug is normally removed, however in some instances with our metal adapter plate we can refit the earthing lug.
